Russian Artist Portrayed Tarantino’s Heroines As Pin-Up Girls
American filmmaker Quentin Tarantino again makes a noise in the world by his 9th film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”. Nonlinear storylines, extended scenes of dialogue and estheticization of violence appertain to his movies, and the last one is not the exception.
Rick Dalton, former star of 1950s Western television series, tries to put himself in the movie business, as fears that his career is over. His assistant, driver-doubler and best friend Cliff Booth wants to help the movie star. The plot takes place against the events of the Charles Manson sect – on February 8-9 and August 8-9, 1969, when the killings took place.
This movie raised not only heated debates between film critics. But it also became a source of inspiration for many artists. Andrew Tarusov is one of them.
His is a pin-up artist with a huge experience, who can boast cooperation with such brands and news-agencies as Disney, 20th Century Fox, Maxim, Cosmopolitan, RollingStone, USA Today, The Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Time, MTV, GQ, Inked.
This time Andrew dreams for a while how Tarantino’s heroines would look like pin-up girls.
Andrew also has Instagram page, where he posts his works, including these posters and video-process of their creation.
