The Frankfurt Motor Show has opened its doors today, on September, 12, in Germany. Automobile companies are going to present hundreds of their new products through to September, 22.

Dozens of the world’s largest companies such as Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, BMW, Opel, Renault, Honda have already impressed automobile fans with innovations.

This year electro are in the high light at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Volkswagen announces 23 electro cars. For example, Cupra Tavascan electric crossover is based on Volkswagen’s new MEB platform and equipped with a 77 kW battery that provides a driving range up to 450 kilometers. This model has two electric motors that make possible to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

Volkswagen ID.3 electric hatchback is the most anticipated model of the motor show.

This vehicle will be available with three different battery sizes: 45 kW (up to 330 kilometers), 58 kW (up to 420 kilometers) and 77 kW (up to 550 kilometers).

New Taycan Porsche is meant to be European alternative to American Tesla.

This model with two electric engines generates 600 hp and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.

Mercedes-Benz shows the EQV model, long-expected for European and Arab businessmen.

The car is not too noticeable – the usual V-class. But this is the first premium electric minivan in the world. A driving range is 405 kilometers.

Mini presents its first electric model, which is similar to the 3dr Cooper. The electric motor delivers 135 kW/184 hp and a maximum torque of 270 Nm. The model can get from 0 to 60 km/h (37 mph) in 3.9 seconds.

The new Opel Corsa-e has become the world’s first electric rally car.

The electric motor contributes 136 hp and provides acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. A 50 kW battery serves a driving range up to 330 kilometers.

However the future is nearby, but there are many new models with traditional engines in the pavilions.

Hypercar Lamborghini Sian is created on the base of Aventador SVJ and has a hybrid powertrain. It’s the most powerful Lamborghini ever produced. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h achieves in 2.8 seconds, and the top speed is 350 km/h.

BMW Vision M Next concept combines a futuristic appearance with innovative technologies that aim at maximum comfort and perfect driving.

The concept has a hybrid powertrain with a capacity of 592 hp, which allows accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just three seconds. The top speed of Vision M Next is 300 km/h.

Audi RS 6 Avant is designed in the style of RS models. The car with 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 3.6 seconds. The top speed is 250 km/h.

The general appearance of the updated Land Rover Defender has become more modern and softer. It got a thin radiator enclosure and a notable badge on the hood. Land Rover Defender will be available in 90, 110 and 130 configurations with three diesel and three gasoline engines, as well as a hybrid version with 398 hp.

The new generation of the BMW X6 coupe-crossover also received a modern design. The model is equipped with 4.4-liter V8 gasoline engine with a capacity of 523 hp, which provides acceleration to “hundreds” in 4.3 seconds, and the top speed is around 250 km/h.

New Nissan Juke, the updated Porsche Macan, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Audi AI:Trail Quattro, Mercedes-Benz Vision EQS are among other premieres.

It’s the 68th such event. The Frankfurt Motor Show takes place on odd-numbered years and is punctuated with a car dealership in Paris. 994 companies from 39 countries attended the last event in Frankfurt and showed 228 new cars and developments.

The organizers note that approximately the same number of guests is expected in 2019. Visitors can also participate in test drives of world novelties.

As even photos of the cars at the Frankfurt Motor Show are incredible, so visitors will really have the unique opportunity to become a witness of modern tendencies in the car industry.
