Photographer Alex Robciuc has spent 10 years photographing Transylvania region in Romania. He chose mountain and rural regions, hidden from modern urbanistic cities.

Transylvania was the source of inspiration for many writers. That’s something mystical and symbolical there when you look at this pastoral idyll.

Old churches, villages, and hills most often were in the shots. Alex tried to express his own feelings and emotions through his masterpieces.

Most of these photos are taken at sunrise and sundown. Alex reminded that he had to get up at 5 a.m. to make a perfect shot.

The man was rewarded with a Sony World Awards 2019 for these photos. Also, he got an honorable title “Tourism Ambassador”.

The photographer says, that he doesn’t use special devices and new technologies for these photos. It’s all about the perfect moment, the perfect point of shooting and the soft morning light.

But when you are looking at these pictures, it beggars belief!

All his pictures, Alex posts on his Instagram and Facebook.

Do you like these photos? Have you ever been to Romania?

As for journalist, there is the only rule in my life: “Do, what you can, and always move on”. And this postulate I try to get across to readers.
